"The friction boiler uses shaft power to heat water pumped into it. When boiled, the water can be drawn out the top of the boiler as steam. This machine has a warm-up period before which it will not make steam. Note that this machine can overheat and violently fail."

Tips & Tricks Edit

  • Steam Produced is a linear function of power input. (RPM and Torque do not seem to matter)
  • 512kw of input is enough to run one steam dynamo consuming 1 bucket of water per second. SImilarly 5MW of power would power 10 steam dynamos and consume 10 buckets of water per second. Unfortunately the water required for higher levels of steam generation becomes prohibitive.
